For those of you wondering why I still consume butter but no other dairy.
I eliminated dairy with the exception to butter as a personal choice because butter doesn’t affect the body in a negative way like the rest of dairy can. Not saying all dairy is bad. I will most likely add some good quality fresh cheeses in moderation.
Butter provides tons of nutrients, can increase metabolism and provides satiety unlike cheese (cheese and other dairy caused me cravings) and butter doesn’t have a negative impact on insulin or hormones like other dairy can.
So as far as butter goes, it’s always been good to me, the benefits are wonderful, it tasted amazing, and it doesn’t cause any negative effects that are linked to other sources of dairy that include lactose.
